Against the Machine: Evolution

Earth, 2212. The planet is ravaged by catastrophic climate change. Billions have died. The remnants of humanity are divided: the elite inhabit the MEGs, cities transformed into massive, high-tech protective domes, while the rest, the MASS, struggle for survival in the ruined landscapes outside. All seems well for those in the CORPORATE, but the facade is crumbling. As the climate worsens and the MASS grows restive, the AI "Silicons" are achieving sentience. In a desperate bid for survival, the ruling elite have concocted a final solution: abandon Earth for Alpha Centauri, destroying the planet in their wake. In this epic conclusion, four protagonists from different corners of this fractured world must unite to stop the exodus. Their journey will do more than save a dying world; it will forever alter the human-machine interface, reshaping the very course of human evolution.
